Myria the Dimetrodon was discovered by the Whiteside Museum of Natural History in 2019. The maxilla is a bone that contains the arsenal of sharp, serrated teeth in the skull of Dimetrodon. Unlike Dinosaurs which have uniform-shaped teeth, Dimetrodon has numerous tooth types including post canines, canines, pre-canines, and incisors. This differentiated tooth assemblage is more similar to mammals than to reptiles and dinosaurs.
