Chris Flis

Museum Director

Christopher Flis has worked in the museum and paleontology industry since 2004. He was born in Midland, Texas, and has also lived in Dublin, Ireland and London, England.

Laura Nix

Administrative Assistant

Laura is originally from Michigan but, has lived in Texas for the past 27 years and the last 12 years have been spent in Seymour.

Dr. Robert T. Bakker

Adjunct Curator of Paleontology

Dr. Bakker is a world renown paleontologist who helped reshape modern theories about dinosaurs, particularly by adding support to the theory that some dinosaurs were endothermic (warm-blooded).

Holly Simon

Assistant Director

WMNH Assistant Director Holly Simon has worked for the Whiteside Museum since 2016 and is both an active member of the paleontological dig crew as well as the museum's Marketing and Social Media Director.

McKinzi Donnell

Curatorial assistant

McKinzi Donnell has been with the Whiteside Museum since June 2021. She has lived in Seymour all her life and has enjoyed watching the museum grow and discover new things over the years.
